2MPy business consultancy was founded in 2021 by Clare B Marshall following a career in an international corporate environment. Together with co-partner, Tony Marshall, the team works collaboratively with business owners, project leaders and corporate services senior professionals in areas related to troubleshooting, risk, governance, business change or transformation, major projects, business development initiatives and people strategies.
Their combined global experience covers a broad and far-reaching range of business activities resulting in a strong, unique partnership and reputation as a trusted advisor. They bring dynamic and solutions-focused commercial and project leadership to a team or organisation.

Originally qualifying as a barrister, Clare B Marshall’s experience as General Counsel and member of a global leadership team within an international professional services firm, has allowed her to bring foresight, independent judgement and strategic oversight to a range of business complexities.
A creative, forward-thinking and commercially focused chartered engineer, Tony Marshall’s experience of complex major projects and global business leadership is underpinned by strong analytical skills and a keen interest in digital solutions and technology to optimise project efficiencies. He has a deep understanding of intricate major project design and delivery models in particular the practicalities of building and managing multi-disciplinary teams and navigating the changing landscape of public and private sector procurement.

The team plays an active role supporting industry professional bodies and collaborating with partners globally in areas related to foresight, technical best practice, business principles, training and learning and development.
Clare B Marshall has participated in international speaker panels to debate risk management topics. She contributed to global law firm DLA Piper’s technical report titled ‘Constructing the future: surviving and thriving in the era of disruption’. She routinely authors industry insight for infrastructure trade press on topics such as the impact of geopolitics on businesses, the UK’s building safety regime, lifelong learning and personal development in the workplace, and safety cultures and the role of corporate governance.
Tony Marshall is currently an adviser to the Council of Management of the Road Safety Foundation; a UK-based charity with wider European links which advocates road casualty reduction through simultaneous action on all three components of the safe road system: roads, vehicles and behaviour. He is a strong advocate for sustainable development and has shared his thoughts on the planning and implementation of England’s Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) model and explored the changing face of sustainable design in the project lifecycle.
